About our Company

Ben Hunt, CEO & PGA Golf Professional
Founder of Grand Strand Golf Association.

Ben has been involved in the Myrtle Beach golf industry since 1987 which included positions as the Head Golf Professional at Brick Landing Plantation and General Manager at Meadowlands GC and Carolina Shores Golf & Country Club. He has developed junior golf programs, promoted national golf tournaments and is considered one of the top teaching professionals in South Carolina.

Nominated for the 2001 and 2002 Carolina PGA Junior Golf Leader Award. 

Lauren Hunt, GSGA Communications Director
University of North Carolina, BA in communication
Lauren plans to play professional golf this fall while being the spokeperson for the GSGA.

Awards & Honors: 2006-07 All ACC Team Selection
2006 Carolinas Women's Match Play Champion
2006 Cougar Classic Champion, collegiate win.
2005 Carolinas Women's Amateur Champion.
She has competed in 2 USGA Women's Amateur and 2 USGA Women's Pub-Link Championships.



Ben and his wife, Susan make their home in Little River, South Carolina.
